This one girl I know's mom was a hair dresser and her older son had natural dreads and she noticed I was growing locks and wanted to pick me up Dr. Bronner's. I think I will take up on her offer now!

So, Sorry if I'm not in the right category but a friend of mine fell in love with this girls dreads, So now she wants dreads I personally think these are backcombed but she wants to dread this summer so I told her not to use wax.

I've been going at the neglect method since mid-october and my hair has been locking pretty well, Almost the whole back of my head has locked and the sides have some locking hair too just the top of my head has been coming along slowly, But I'm not concerned. I also have been using hypo-allergenic clarifying shampoo that leaves to residue. I figured since I haven't posted in the forums in a while do to my computer being in repair that I should post a update. I will upload pictures soon.

Get your money back from that salon the same thing happened to me they told me I was Locing I walked around school for a week with braids, It wont work if you're white with straight hair.

Hello, I am so curious wondering what method I should use to dread my hair, I think dread locks are amazing I am white with curly frizzy hair and reading about how johnny clean ruins dreads, Just tells me he is a con artist. I am going to attach a picture of me with my current hair I would really like to know what method I should go with.
