i was expecting it to go a lot faster. ifind it a lot more rewarding actually that it's taking so long though.i have fine hair texture so it's not that surprising, but i'm loving every aspect of the journey. my hair can take as long as it wants and i'd love it the same. it's kind of hard to tell from the photos but i have some gnarly little guys that are much further along underneath some of my hair in these pictures. i'll post a video in this thread some time to get a better idea of what's going on

the dreads in the last pictures are all nape hairs on the back of my neck.
they started forming into giant clusters first, around day 40, and i've been separating them twice a week since then

i also have a nice collection of younger ones forming on my front hairline because i have to wear a headband when i go to work
