Thanks SE, I needed to hear that. Even though I love the bumps and loops Iwouldprefer in time to have akaraoke crown than a pierced teenager

Right now my hair is really filled with bumps, loops and fork-like ends. I kind of like this stage and think it looks like a sweet elf or goblin. On the other hand I would like for them to be a little more regular and uniform in time. I'm not asking for a reassuring that they will be all identical andstraight without little bumps to make them unique. I just need to se some before and after pics from people who have gone beyound this truely wild stage to see where i'm heading.
Will anyone share some during and after this stage pics
I've tried taking some picture of mine but they are kind of crappy
I like using just baking soda but where I live it just doesn't work during winter, my hair gets all greasy and filled with white mud. Jo I need something else, all soapbars I've tried have the same effect during winter, but this one seems to work. I not happy about all the chemicals too but I've tried a lot, and no one leaves my hair feeling clean, except for this one.
What I'm worried about is whether or not it leaves residues inside my dreads
Hi everybody
When looking for non-residue shampoo i'm not really sure what to look for or nor to look for. I've found this detox shampoo for Kevin Murphy and i'mactuallyusing italready. I't works wonders, my hair and scalp are clean, but not to dry and my hair have gone wild in loops, knots and dreading progress. But then I read the full ingredients list and saw it contained PEG whichI'veheard is a conditioner. What do you say, can I keep on using it (ones every month I do the baking soda ACV wash with essentialoilstoo)
This is the shampoo: http://www.kevinmurphy.com.au/products/washes_productdetail.php?id=4
and this is the full ingredients list:

I've rad in another post that beads where good for the dreading progress, but why? What do they do other than separating and keeping the hair form being able to create friction against each other
Camilla
Hey thanks everyone
Lot of good suggestions, but I would really like somethig that I would be able to just go down and by, lazy as I am, and I haven't been able to find any of the brands.
So I thoughtI really can't be true that I can't find anything when living in Arhus, the 2nd biggest town in Denmark. So I went down tocheckout all the small shops downtown yesterday, and found some barsoapes in an ecoshop and from the ingrediens list and after advice in the shop I will try them they areonly 3,5 $ (20 dkk), and look quite similar to Mayless.
At Maxe:
Well I have been using BS/ACV (no oils the last 2 moths) rinse sinceOctoberbut have found out that it just doesn't work for me. My hair gets really greasy, so much that it almost seems like some of my dreads were just glued together hair. It was kind of nasty to look at and to let my fingers touch and didn't make my 3 month old very frizzy, looping fussy dreads look very well
So I washed it in homemade residue free shampoo a week ago and some of the mentioned glued together dreads fell apart. But my hair really feels so clean and smell fresh so for now I've stopped using the BS/ACV and are just washing in the homemade shampoo every 3th day, and my hair is much healthier and seems to be progressing more, in the right way, by knotting and not by grease.
But I'm also kind of lazy and would like to be able to by a shampoo, it doesn't seem like it's possible to buy Dr. Bronners in Denmark but can any of yourecommendother shampoos, preferablyshampoos that are for sale in Europe/Denmark?
And do you think I can try the BS/ACV again sometime? (i've tried dissolving the BS in both cold, hot and boilingwater)
