Employment W/Dreads
dreads jobs employment issues
I'm a busgirl at a restaurant and I just tie them back. Haven't had any problems
I'm working on a degree of early childhood education so that I may start a daycare, that is my dream I love little kids and they are young enough at that age to not judge and maybe it can be instilled in them to be open minded and it may follow them thru their lives! The people I know personally or know OF near me, that have dreads, one works at a factory, one works as an artist/musician, and one works in our zoo with the kangaroos
i was doing the separating after my showers too. i think i'm probably doing it too often since i have more loose hair than sectioned hair. t&r doesn't work in my hair. i did a couple in my hair a few months ago and they fell out in a matter of hours. stupid soft hair its all about the journey, right? lol:)

I've also still got a lot of loose hair from separating. I've been taking some of it and doing a little t&r to keep things in order.
I'm a month and three weeks in, though. You're a lot farther along than me! :P

I echo SE's advice about working on things in your life you may be dissatisfied with. I certainly know that for me, when I get down, I take it out on my body in some way, and the past two times have been on my hair (cutting, combing out), and I've definitely wished I hadn't done so.
So I'd advise you sit with your feelings a little longer and see if it really is your hair calling out for change, or if there are areas in your life that could use some attention. Always remember to be loving and gentle with yourself, and anything you choose, in the end, is going to be the right choice, even if it doesn't feel like it at the time.
Only you know what's best for you!
