Dreading Methods

hmn this seems like a cool experiment worth trying lol..i have never tried dr bronners but i do use tea tree shampoo, i wonder what will happen if i mix that with sea salt instead.

Dread Maintenance

well in my opinion they look great, dont worry so much about the time..everyones hair tends to maturely dread at different lengths of time...i remember seeing this 1 guy on youtube who did dread updates and it took him around 30 months to mature but he had some great lookin locks, he did no maintence except wash...but anyway you just have to be patient and they will come on their own time...Bless*

Introduce Yourself

SE is right about all the things he's said...i was in the same boat as you, well kinda still am...i grew my hair from bald too and when i sleep it kinda compresses so i just feel around with my fingers and not twist but kinda keep em seperated... i dont have any really defined dreads yet so to speak but they are starting to show some progress...i also want thick dreads, thought it was funny wen i saw ur pic of jason momoa cuz looking at his dreads is what made me want (thicker dreads)..you just gotta trust in your hair n let it do its thing...Bless*

General Talk

i def have to agree with ya on this post SE...this site has been great, im on alot since theres so much info out there and the community i waay better than fb, many different breeds of people here on this site but like u said we all have 1 common goal and have lots of respect and love for each other here.....i do have to be honest tho i have a fb account and use it frequently also but my main use there is to get in touch with friends and family that i may not be able to talk to much so it is of some benefit to me......Big up to dreadlocksite nuff respect, Bless*

time to get a new tam? opinions..

General Questions

So right now i currently have a cotton tam, been planning on getting a new wool one since its obviously the best material from what ive heard here...my hair is starting to outgrow the tam i have now is it bad if its squishing my hair down a lil? now ive seen others in local shops here but they're too big (hair is still short) i cant seem to find something in between....now in my case im not much for buying things online idk thats just me, so should i settle for a bigger one, keep wearing my small one, or jus grab some wool yarn n make my own? keeping in mind that i have no knitting experience, maybe someone can point me in the right direction to where i can learn for myself perhaps.....Bless*
