Is there any way to make locs skinnier?

Dread Maintenance

Cool thanks. How do I split them? There's like two that really are WAY too huge. I was thnking of combing those out and separating them but I don't know.

Dread Maintenance

I have a few that are really fat. I'm only about four months in so I'm wonderin if this is permanent. Also I have tons and tons of loops. I like em. I think they're cute. I was just wondering if those were as well.

My 9 year old brother wants locks

General Talk

And not just any locks, NEGLECT locks. He has about and inch of tightly curled hair. And he has taken upon himself to continue bathing but hasn't allowed my mom to comb or brush his hair. My moms trying to convince him to grow it out then get the comb and twist ones my older brother got, but he was some like mine. They're "cooler". Even though his hair is short, I can already see where little parts are sectioning off. Just thought I'd share. :p

Going Natural

Introduce Yourself

Yea the same minus the shampoo basically happened to me. An they all came loose. So I went natural. They look great. Only my bangs haven't sectioned off completely. Basiy less is more. As far as I've seen. My brother, who has an Afro did single twists *no products* an his gf, who has straight hair, did crotchet and TNr. Mines are maturing faster than theirs. So it should be great.

decoration

Introduce Yourself

I don't have any pics. On my iPod. But my friends make me hair jewelry. You know those 25 cent rings you get out if the machines? I use those too. Regular beads. Oh and chandelier ear rings. :p

kool aid and frozen pizza, and dreads

General Questions

I've seen a woman do plaits, but she was black. by the end you couldn't see the pattern at all. I have a friend with hair your texture who did plaits to dreads, they actually did work. It just took a little whiles. but it did work.

Alternative Lifestyles and Subcultures

I actually understand what he's saying. The original meaning to gay was "joy" of somekind. Just like "cool" means a relatively lower tempature. We should stop saying lame to then. Lame was typically a term placed on retarded people. Not that I actually use that term. Not since middle school, but I know more gay people who say it then straight. But I guess that's equivalent to blacks who say "nigga" n -.-
