Never to early to get into the right habits, but I'd wash more often. Some swear by water only, but I'd say use baking Soda at least to start out. 3-4 times a week.

You must be able to get baking soda in Brazil, it is very common in baking.
Its called bicarbonato de soda or bicarbonato de sdio.
Hope you can find some its great and not just for hair and baking, you can clean everything with it and its gentle on the environment and the body.
Maybe if you can't buy it local you could buy online?

By the look of your fabulous hair it should lock rather quickly.

Can you get baking soda? You will need something to clean your hair and scalp with.

I didn't dread naturally, but I think if you just let it grow, don't brush, it will dread as it grows.
It's very curly so I would think that once it starts to come together it will happen pretty fast. You don't have to let it grow to dread, you can start now, just wash and once it starts to get together, separate sections a little.
