Damian Marley Dreads

Dreading Methods

Let me share some of my fave Damian marley Dreadlock pix as well :]although the photo you attach is like WOW, because I did not know his locks had grown past that length already!!The only artist I know of that has locks past knee length is Brian Fair of the band Shadows Fall, but he is not Rastafarian btw .

seroiusness about soda in my dreads!!!

Dread Maintenance

I used to listen to ICP back in High School years. Never was a big fan though.

All I know is that Tila Tequila was beaten up at an ICP concert, and the ICP members warned her not to go, but she insisted.
She got bruised (stuff got thrown at her), Bloodied (Stuff like glass bottles?), and even feces thrown at her.

...I thought it was hilarious ONLY because she knew it could happen and..hey its Tila Tequila attention whore.

Dreadlocks in short hair.

Introduce Yourself

Good advice on having the locks move freely

I wear my locks tied back because of work and I forget sometimes to let them be FREEEE once I get home!! So yes, it is important to let them do their thing.

mine started at the same length but started naturally so whole diferent story
all i can say is who cares what it does or how it looks? u can go out without a hatt cause u shopuldnt care that its not perfect
sea salt every day is overkill emphasis on kill u wanna do it once a week about a couple hoirs b4 u wash
curling ups a good thing but
backcombing will most likely fall out completely ..so if it does..let it it will still dread up fine when its ready to dread

weating a tams good but not all the time wear it only bout 1/2 the time cause they need time to move freely too

Dread Shops discussion on dread tams, hats

General Talk

Yes I've noticed there are several shops, I've only checked out Etsy's site and they have like 154 pages of dreadlocks tams and hats. So many choices, so I was hoping if maybe some forum members have had personal experiences shopping at any of those shops, to help me narrow down my choices.

Dread Shops discussion on dread tams, hats

General Talk

Hello everyone,I tried posting this on the Dread Shop category, but for some reason the "add discussion" link wasn't available, so here it goes. Its that time of year when its going to get COLD and well I wanted to wear my locks in a fashionable way while staying warm and comfy. I went to the Dread Shop link and found some interesting stores offering the dread tams and hats, but the site(s) don't really have any user comments. So I need some help on where I can find the best quality and best price for Dread tams and hats. Please advice, I'd like to hear your own personal experiences and recommendations. Many Thanks !!

congos, beaver tail, etc

Dreading Methods

Ive been trying to congo two dreads that are thinner than my liking and its been about 3 weeks and still nothing, they are separate as ever...I even put rubberbands in 3 places to hold them together and nada! What did u do to make them congo?

Faelwynn said:
I'm no fan of beaver tails, but I do have two congos already that I love dearly. One was completely accidental, and the other I forced to congo, because one of the closer dreads was tiiiiny. It looked like I had ripped it in the wrong direction or something, causing it to become dangerously thin. It's all better now though... the two together makes for a nice chunky dread. ^-^
