soverign citizenship

Alternative Lifestyles and Subcultures

Here is all I am going to say about the subject and doing I hope it gets people thinking and studying.

1. To be a "Sovereign" one must study law.

2. Hearsay and contracts are the beginning to the legal web. Font size/capitalization has nothing to do with it. Government agencies can easily switch from all caps to upper and lower case lettering with the press of a button.

3. As to the restrictions: That varies depending on where you live and the contracts you may have. Ultimately...."Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

4. Those who actually are "Sovereign" don't tell other people they are.

dreadlocks changing more than your hair

General Talk

I went Vegan and started doing Yoga. Apart from that I'll second what Soaring Eagle says.

My dreadlocks have changed everything about me.

Never thought I'd say this but I want more loops and bumps!

General Talk

You will have more. Some of your current loops and kinks may get larger. As SoaringEagle can attest to you will have new dreadlocks that form and go through the development phases all by themselves.

Palm rolling- useless?

Dread Maintenance

Ugg....palm rolling. The only thing I do with my dreadlocks is pull them away from each other and wash my hair at least twice a week. Life, at times, has enough difficulties on its own.Why make dreadlocks more difficult.

EVERYONE! i want to know...

General Questions

I can give you several reasons. However I usually tell people that it was the next most peaceful thing I can do. I am into my third year of development and they look much different than when I first started them.

Separation frustration

Dread Maintenance

1. Stop worrying about it. Think less about what you don't like and more about what you do like about your dreadlocks. 2. Go outside more often. The sunlight is good for you. Let the wind separate and develop your dreadlocks. If you can not go outside use a hair drier as an alternative to the wind.

Can hair stylists have dreadlocks???

General Questions

Yes, you can have dreadlocks and be a hairstylist. As long as you can do the task you are asked to do your clients won't have any problems. You may find that you get more clients because of your dreadlocks.

Since you know so much about this list. Is there link to a .gov website you can give to everyone to look at?

Compared to the fact that "Freedom of Religion" is a concept written into number of Constitutions that list has as much force of law behind it as a grain of sand would have. Ever hear of Shamanism?

For everyone not just Baba Fats:

1. Actual laws and regulations/statutes aren't the same things. Laws apply to everyone equally. Regulations/statutes apply to the persons who are required to comply with them because of some voluntary decision.

2. If a company wants you to stop working with them. There is no requirement that makes them put your name on the schedule. Trust me, I have woke up to phone calls and told that I am no longer needed.

check out the law. The US only recognizes some religions (all of the biggies: Chistianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindu... etc). Wicca was not recognized until somewhat recently. I'm not even sure if Rastafarianism is yet
