Most of the twist and rip dreads I've heard of unravel anyways. I did mine 10 days ago, and I did them tight, they're all unraveling. But they are locking up as they are unravel.

I think I may have seen that on the History channel once, about Blackbeard and the fuses. Poor old pirate would have gone up in flames if he had waxed, haha!
This reminds me of the pirate on the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie who lit bombs with his beard dreads, lol.

I used this shampoo the day I did TnR, and it seemed to get all the t-gel residue out, but it did leave a smell for a couple days afterwards. I think every commercial shampoo will leave some residue, but its not much with this one. And it did make my hair feel and look very clean. I think this shampoo is totally worth the price, and it has become part of my hair-cleaning arsenal.

Strange. When in fact a lot of salon dreads my use wax which may cause mold, and real 'grossness'. Also, I hear of a lot of salons telling you to not wash your hair for like 6 months, which is obviously gross.
