I agree with Knottysleeves I just finished takin mines out saturday (march 27) of after a year of backcombed dreads. It took me about a month (laziness) I'm not sure how it will turn out since you also corcheted them. It can be done tho. I also didn't want to loose length. Make sure you want to actually take them out tho. Many times during the whole process of taking mines out I wish I never started taking them out. But I knew what I was going for.

I actually took mines out, took me a very long time. I had actually started to like the natural method. And had that "what if" so after a year of backcombed. I think I'm going with the natural process started saturday. Was thinking of getting my hair seperated into sections like if I was to block braids. But lets try that natural.Meaning of all that is, make sure you choose the right method for you and remember you have to live with it.
