General Questions

oh really i didnt know that. yeah i was thinking sea salt but just wanted to hear what some other brothers and sisters had to say. thank you man! Vinny said:
I don't have any experience with the natural method so my credibility on the issue is between none and not enough , but I don't think you did anything WRONG. From what I've seen and heard the natural route is a road of taking 3 steps forward then 2 steps back until they reach a certain level of maturity, and after that its only steps forward.
The only thing i can think of that would help them lock up a tad faster would be a wool hat and maybe some sea water, but Im just speculating.Good luck cool thing

HELP =)

General Questions

okay so ive been letting my dreadies grow naturally now for about three months. the other day i washed them with baking soda and tea tree oil. it made my hair super soft but it sorta took some of the knottyness out of my hair. i was just wondering, did i do it wrong or is the baking soda wash only for more mature dreadlocks?? i have a wool hat ive been wearing but was wondering maybe if there was some kind of natural ingredient i could rinse my hair with to help it knot up just a little faster since its like my babies backtracked half a month now =[ i would be grateful for any help. thank you all!

I am that brain dead jock....

Dreading Methods

i say if you WANT dreadlocks go for it! who cares what other ppl are going to say, they will judge you no matter what you look like. if they dont judge you for your dreads theyll judge you for something else. do what you want in life, what makes you happy! i just started dreading naturally and its only been three months and ive noticed how much judging has been going on! but it only makes me laugh because some people are that lame to judge you for your appearance rather than the person you are. good luck to you. let them grow brother!

wool hat

Introduce Yourself

yeah and i figured it might cause breakage but im not too sure, thank you! labmofgod said:
im sure rubbing your head with wool is fine i do it and it does cause it to lock up faster but the locks kinda look odd because your pulling hair from all over your head... i would just say do it like you are scratching your head or in circles
