What's the weirdest question you've been asked towards your dreads?

Jamaica is nice at the resorts but outside it's a poor and impoverished country. I was there for a week, had a good time but the locals walking around with machettes and guns made me a little uneasy. And the fact that there were missing tourists that thought they were going to see marijuana fields. Stay at the resorts!

most recently i would say the strangest thing i got was from some jamacian guy at the fair. his brother had dreads !THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL btw! they kept calling me rasta though that was strange. they told me i shoulkd go someday i wish i coukd that would be the shit!!

I used the crochet method on mine to start 4 months or so ago and about once a month just to get the loose hair and frizz on top maintained. My hair locked up pretty quick, and there's no need now but it's a good way to keep em neat. Much better than wax. I used wax a few years ago and that shit melted out and my face broke out. Dont use nasty wax but I can also see how crocheting too much can damage your hair. But to all their own!
