Baby.... BABY!?!?!?!Maybe or am I imagining it...

Life Issues Facing Dreads

I did some research and it seems that you get alot of the same symptoms when you quit BC as you do in early pregnancy. Awful trick if you ask me. I will be playing it safe and taking a test for sure if I miss my period that should be happening sometime near the end of Sept but since I have never had a regular cycle without the use of BC I am not holding my breath. I will keep you guys posted either way! Thanks!

Good point... didnt even think about that aspect of it... I just hope it can get on it's own normal cycle and I can save the money on BC I will kill someone if it goes back to the nothing then a month and a half long again! ;) Knottysleeves said:
From what you describe, it could very well be your hormones just trying to regulate themselves again after being chemically controlled for......

well I imagine that it's very early at this point so I am not sure when to take the test. My cycle has only been regular the past few years because of Birth Control which I stopped taking around Aug 15th then after about 5 days my period starts and usually will not stop unless I start BC again. This time however I had none to take and my period ended about 5 days after it started and rather abruptly vs. the usual taking 7-12 days total and having it get slowly lighter... it just got light one day then was gone the next...My guess is I should probably wait and see if I miss my next one but... who knows when that will be since I never had a regular one naturally. Prior to BC which I started at 21 I would go 6-12 months without anything but mood swings then a month and a half long period that was super heavy... I just don't know when to expect it! msfunkadelic said:
Lemme start by saying I've been pregnant twice. The first time I knew right away achy breasts, tired, missed periods. The second........l

HAHA of course SE I would Imaging I would know if I am Preggers I honestly don't know how those girls go a the whole 9 months not knowing then just suddenly go into labor on the stupid show "I didn't know I was Pregnant"The plan is to get a test asap but it's rather awkward to do when you are on a trip with your Dad. Next chance I get to check out alone I will get one but not gonna go up there with it right in front of him and then have to explain it all. Both my parents would flip right now if I were pregnant I am sure and I am not even living with them. I plan on not telling them anything until I know for sure I am and if I am not then I dont have to say a thing!

Life Issues Facing Dreads

I was talking to some ladies who just had babies and the groups coversation turned to the beginning when they found out they were pregnant and some of the symptoms I heard were things that I guess I have been experiencing. They haven't been extreamely obvious and they seem down right subtle and I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to seem right away.Do they almost seem non-existent and could easily be written off as just normal bodily functions? I am not talking about the blatenly obvious ones like morning sickness etc...What did some of you experience right before you found out. What made you test to be sure. The reason I started looking into it a bit more was because my period ended rather abruptly and for the past two years I have been on BC but could not start up again because I couldnt' afford to go for the exam they required to write me another prescription. I have insurance but there is a really high deductable so I practically pay cash for everything as it is. In the past if I didnt start on BC after I should it would just keep going non stop for about 2-4 weeks MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS!Just wanting to hear about some others experiences and see if I am just imaging symptoms or if they start subtle. I will most likely go take a test to be more sure but just gathering info as wellThanks guys!It probably is just another food baby ;) hahah What can I say I like to eat yummy foods!

I am not sure how much of PA we're heading to but I def know we are going to see where I grew up... Windgap....sorta Nazareth area. Might check out Allentown if we can as some of the people I was friends with in Elementary School live there and I might be able to meet up with some of them if we go... My dad is navigating however so we will see... thank god he is totally chill... many of you would probably really like him.As far as Maryland the bride lives in Waldorf, her parents are in Saint Mary's county, my other aunt is in Damascus, and the wedding is in some city that starts with an N and is really weird but I am not sure what exactly it is called. LOL

embarrassed to be seen in public

Life Issues Facing Dreads

My dad doesnt say much about them. My mom has a couple questions but has always been supportive of my crazy hair decisions. She tends to however be more judgemental of the guys that I date. (Only been 2!) The last guy was a disaster so I don't blame her for that but when I talk to her about my new boyfriend she has a judgemental tone to her voice about some things. He is bipolar and she made a comment about if we get married and want a family not to have kids because he could pass it on. It hurt that she would judge that so quickly especially since she knows I do want kids one day.In regards to how you dress, wear your hair, kind of tattoos you have, piercings etc. It's your body not theirs. They try and make the rule of if you are under my roof it's my rules. Try asking them why they are so against it. They most likely won't be able to come up with a good answer. Jobs as well with silly rules on dress code. I can understand with a safety concern or a health code issue with length but they wouldn't have the same issues with a girl who has super frizzy hair naturally that just isn't in dreads... It sadly is an ignorance thing.

I have this small feeling in the pit of my stomach that he won't want to move in and will just stop talking to me before I return from my trip. It's just a small fear since everything is going so perfect. I honestly dont think he will do it, but the fear is in the back of my mind none the less...
