bannings (open to discussion)

General Talk

I got banned for saying hi too. soaringeagle said:
well i suspected from the 1st post that it was a troll, and id seen on another site that a troll had joined (do they think theres no way to tell they came from a site full of trolls? part of making the site great is knowing how visitors find us so ofcourse when i see traffic from other forums, even if its just 4 visits i check to see what sent them here)
the reason the sites getting so popular so fast is i spend a ton of time working on it both on the site and behind the scenes monitoring traffic patterns and search standings (which the past 24 hours have been increasing hourly as more and more pages get indexed, we should see a huge leap in traffic over the next month)
its very easy for me to track where ewach and every visitor comes from (not through tracking cookies or anything just by seeing what sites the links they clicked were on)

there are now 2 forums that are mostly members banned from a forum some of us were on before
the 1 the troll came from is a whole 10 members (well less since they banned at least 1 just for saying hi)
these 2 forums have nothing but complaints about the forum that banned them and insults of varius members
out of boredom they play these troll games, try to stir up trouble for a laugh

any troll like activity will get a ban, usualy temoorary while we figure out if it is indeed a troll or just an abrasive personality.
in this case we had direct evidence he joined only to cause problems.
so the ban is permenant unless the community as a whole thinks it should be otherwise

natural dreadlocks or neglect method dreading

Dreading Methods

Most of my back-combing came out, like COMPLETLY, but i'm going completly natural now, instead of stressing over making them look "presentable" as my parents say.

Dreads forced to congo

Dread Maintenance

I can't even really rip them. It's like 3 big dreads knotted together. Jess Gergely said:
doing what they want is probably best. soaring eagle will tell you that, & i agree.
but if you're up for maintainence, i'd say rip it, but i'd be careful. if it's a LOT of
hair, i wouldn't, & i'd just let it go on by itself. but, if its a few strands of hair that
are starting to congo, i'd rip.

i have two congos (sort of), one in the back of my head that is so attached, i'd need skizzers
to get them apart, & then ones that congo by themselves over time, which is easily
pulled apart. i'm into maintaining my dreads every week or two, so i pull apart my
congos that start when i dread my roots. i don't know what you do with your hair.

Dreads forced to congo

Dread Maintenance

My friend came over the other day, and he twisted and ripped all my dreads and palm rolled them for me, but he also forced a couple of them together on one side of my head. Now they feel like braided dreads a bit. What should I do? Rip them apart?I'm thinking of just letting them do what they want.

Dread Products

I only use water, works for me. soaringeagle said:
well in that case yes it will help ya dread like crazy
make it about the same as sea water
a dip in the ocean will do ya good anyday

with dreads natural as can be is the rule, so as closely as u can imitate nature is best
if i was able to wash mine in a stream all the time i would (or waterfall would be heavenly)
in nature u might pound the pulp out of some leaves to wash with so when u cant do that the best alternatives are herbs and oils from natural sources

(i guess im maybe a hypocrite tho cause what the hecks baking soda made of? i dont think it grows on treees)
