What is a Hippie?

Alternative Lifestyles and Subcultures

I can't consider myself to be a hippie, (my girlfriend definitely so) but I've never had anything negative come to mind when I hear the word, anyone who looks at them as a whole would be hard pressed to come up with anything negative about them, aside from those who are mostly miserable people to begin with *such as the fucking dumb asses on the internet that SE posted about in the other thread*

dreading methods in the order youd recomend

Dreading Methods

RBN said:
for me, i think backcombing method is the best. i used it. it has worked. now im just leaving them to do what thyey want, but seperating them once in a while. im thinking of putting beads in places where there is frizz so that the beads hold the frizz together with the dread. good or bad idea?
I've got a few beads on one dread that really kinda helped with what you're describing, I wasn't trying to force the frizzy hairs to get back in there but over time its kinda helping it out alot,on topic- I think the curlier your hair is the better neglect works for you, back combings my 2nd, I'd probably do it more with a more aggressive approach than a lighter though.

whom loves wax??

Dread Products

my pov= the wax made my hair look fucking stupid, the back combing alone would have been fine, wish I never used it, especially for as long as 3ish months, glad I stopped when i did, Ive gotta a couple hard dreads like the above^ not as bad but a few of them don't feel right *ones I remember using alot of wax on, since then i've gotten it out as far as I know, but still just gonna wait it out, sure at first I thought it was nice since it smoothed your frizzy hairs over, wished I had looked into it earlier.

salon dread guide (if you must go that route)

Dreading Methods

:fashion dread salon dread lable discrimination factor" thats something you don't hear every day :)I remember one salon lady on youtube backcombing some dummy hair with a very uncomfortable look on her face, at the end of it and twisting it ridiculously she mentioned "normally you'd put some sort of glue in this to hold it" that just confirmed the vibe she was giving. *facepalm*
