dreads or dream job

Introduce Yourself

Congratulations! On being almost done even with the pain meds, on the dreads and on the job. If they mention wanting you to cut your dreads in an interview then by all means bring it up to them that it's a legal issue of religious discrimination. You don't have to be rastafarian...Might be hard to play that card if you're into Scientology or something like that though. lol.

Moldy dready question

Dread Maintenance

You and anyone around you would notice if you had mold long before you'd see it.

How to delay dread progess

Dread Maintenance

Yea, until you have noticable sections then it's pretty counter productive to break the knots. But this is an interesting idea. I wonder if there is a way to halt the dreading process at a certain stage without destroying the sections....without perming it of course.

Dreading Methods

I think he meant modest. Usually pretty interchangable words. Humble is an internalized process where modest is a character trait.Humility is for the self destructive in my opinion. =o Lex said:

or you can be humble and proud and spend nothing, that is the bottom line...

hmm... Makarov... isn't that a contradiction? (humble/proud simultaniously...)

and it has been my experience that many people with natural dreads are quite far from humble about them....

Dreading Methods

I didn't spend money for my dreads but I think it was a good trade. It cost me my vanity and negative self image. =DI now leave those things for people that have the patience for them.

General Questions

Dreads are sexy and you are beautiful. If dudes avoid you then you are probably just going for the wrong type. =o

General Questions

One of the chemicals has to be used with processed citric acid(or some other acid) to be used in cosmetic products just because it's so alkaline.AKA....lots and lots of wonderfully beautiful animal testing! Praise vivisect! lol

Burt's Bees

General Questions

Ehh, if it's organic then my asshole tastes like cotton candy....It's another way of saying that it's chemical surfectant, sugar(used in soda vs cane sugar), glycerin and milk.If you ask if I'd use it, yea...until it starts itching. If you are asking if it's healthy, then no.

Its been one week now

Dread Maintenance

Wow, your hair is really fine and sparse. You'll get some shrinkage where they will fatten up...between 90 and 200 hairs fall out per day and will add to the thickness of your dreads. Humans like all other mammals have 2 shedding periods per year, you decided to tnr after that shedding period so it may be a contributing factor to that thin-ness. Other than that it could be an otherwise un-noticable hormonal issue(not necessarily a problem) where atm you just have less hair than you normally would.
