looking for a nice wool tam

Dread Accessories

Okay so Im searching on etsy looking for a wool tam. when I think about something that is wool I think about something that is rough and causes friction, the ones that I see on etsy look very soft almost like cotton. I don't want any of the blended fibers I want rough wool. can you get me in the right direction? or am I relying on looks too much. can anyone send me a link for a good tam for those who have bought from them.. Im looking for a ski or a beanie I have very very short dreads. thanks

Hello Everyone

Introduce Yourself

wud up brotha man, yeah Im really sold on the natural shit I was on the really maintained stuff for a while, This will be my third set of locks. The approach im going with this time is Im going to keep a line up around my hairline and sides and just let the rest do it's thing. I have a taper on the sides and around the back. that's the "neat" in our culture we have to remain fly and I may be in generalize mode but I know we like to hit the barber shop up get the hairline and beard mantianed.... it's a must.. I do very little mantaining these days. It's hard to keep my hands off of my hair but I slide a du rag on for now, I am in the market for a wool ski hat so that im not tempted to over maintain.

did my own first wash....

Dread Maintenance

The baking soda is supposed to take place of the dr bonners. So I think u did a little bit more then what u should have. You should have just used yor essential oils with your bs. Also what kind of cocaonut oil did you use? I know alot of those have petroleum in them so be carful

Essential oils question

Dread Maintenance

So I'm reading my peppermint oil bottle and it says " caution" and says something about not coming in contact with skin. Then before that it recommends the type of carrier oils that it could be blended with ( so that means that it's obviously going on the skin) I've been using as a topical treatment for the itches but should I be diluting some? I've had no I'll fx but have only been doing this for the past 2-3 days. What do u guys think

SUP TRON!!! Go out to a health food store and pick up some peppermint oil. That shit is magic! Get some on a cotton ball and spot treat the itchies. I just restarted my dreads again (for like the 6th fuggin time) and I'm trying to deal with super itchy scalp right now, so I've just started carrying around peppermint and clove oil. Clove will numb the skin, great for head aches, but you can spot treat with that too and it'll numb up the itchy spots. Plus clove and peppermint both smell amazing!!!!
