first pic was day after sorta backcombing, 2nd was a month after and the last was today, 2 months. Have done nothing but rip apart the ones growing together, all in all, im pretty pleased

I agree, even though I've never been to a gathering, its sounds way cool. I will say that after about 88 or so, the shows really changed.people were going for all the wrong reasons, it wasn't near as cool as before.

All I can say se is wow!!! I saw them over a 100 times and never saw anything like that, yes the trash was always a problem and yes, some of the people whose minds were ruined but wow!!! Of course most of my shows were in the early to mid 80s. Out in cali, I miss those days too

yea, the 2 people that i know that dreaded both used wax, dreads didnt look very good, felt really weird, constantly bitching about waxing, both only kept there dreads for a couple years tops

I know just where your coming from Mc, my parents give me crap everytime i see them, especially my mom. The only thing I can tell you is what i tell them, I'm not changing my style for you, nor am I cutting my hair so i can fit in so just deal with it cause this is how it's gonna be. End of discussion. And......... don't try to please others for the sake of them or fit into there "molds". Dosnt work, believe me. Was married twice trying to be a person i wasnt, didnt end up so well, you'll be much happier being just yourself. Just my 2 cents worth

i did alot of looking before i started mine, probably spent a couple months researching before i started. Like i said, the site i found really pushed backcombing, made sense at the time, now that i know better and have better info, natural is the best way, by far, soaringeagle said:

i think there musta been a thousand ppl thast had used wax the 1st week then discovered how bad it was the 2nd week.. ppl are always in too much of a hurry
