If you were to have bed bugs diatomaceous earth is great for getting rid of them on your bed ..you need to read up on it before application ..Google is your friend ;) . It dries out any bug with an exoskeleton ...to really get rid of any bug problem with your hair you need to treat the areas where your hair occupies.

From what I have seen tnr falls out a lot less on skinny sections like half inch sections the fatter ones. I also have short hair though. And when hr says do natural that means no running your hands through your hair either just wash.

I would only have them in a couple days .they can give more of a managed look for something ...as I mentioned the dog grooming bands are made the way they are to be able to be gotten out of tangled dog hair. Just from my experience if you are going to use bands at all those are the better ones to use .I badass forgot about one in my.last set that was in for like 6 months and it only took one little snip to get it out

Yes it is true rubber bands put on too tight will damage your hair with breakage .It is true your hair will not dread under a tight band. It is also true actual rubber bands will break down into a resin like stick substance all gross likeand be stuck in there . BUT there are a type of nylon bands similar to rubber bands that will not break apart and stick in your dreads. They are generally used in dog grooming. If they are put on loosely and not left in for long periods of time it would be okay for separation of baby dreads. When I say loosely I mean you should be able to move it down the dread if you want. To wear if you had to get scissors or a knife or something to cut it wouldn't be hard. They are usually clear and are like shiny plastic looking rather then dull looking like the rubber bands .have used them and when used the right way they are helpful for keeping young dreads separated especially white fine hair

My first time tnr

Introduce Yourself

Okay first off HI I'm Page. Not new to dreads .I have both made my own and numerous other sets .This is my first time doing tnr. I must say I LOVE it. I have done 4 sets of dreads on friends with backcombing and had done my own before like that and yes while it works it can be damaging and from what I have seen pretty much makes it to where you have to maintain them. Tnr just worked great for my hair and I set a few on another friends head and she loves it also.from my experience over the past 8 months with it is seems the way to go for fine thick hair that gets oily ..just my opinions thought I would put it out there. Peace be with all of you ^_^

The weight of the dread stimulates the hair follicles at the scalp more so yes you do get a lil more growth but since it immediately goes into knotting itself you don't see the length for a bit as it needs to lock up and shrink some first.
