So, I just randomly googled 'Natural dreadlocks' to see what kind of ridiculous stuff is lower down in the results. And, low and behold, in my search I came across this hidden gem on the DDHQ website: http://www.dreadheadhq.com/what-are-all-natural-dreadlocks
It disgusts me that he tries to make out that the natural dreading process is falsely named AND THEN goes on to say that the wax and backcombing he so willingly capitalises on will " assist the natural locking process"

Nothing to do with the post (but congratulations :D) but on first glance I read the title as 'I am officially black!' XD
It's entirely up to you which method you choose, but either natural or TnR would be the best way to go. The majority of the people on here will say to go the natural way, but if you're really set on the neatness of them, I'd say twist and rip is what you want. You'll have to do a fair amount of separating though if you wanna keep them thin.
But, unfortunately, they're gonna be pretty messy for the first year or so whichever method you choose
What I don't understand is that he says the wax stops the dread from unravelling so you don't lose the 'progress' but then says that it still allows it to lock up so you can end up with excellent dreads. (yeah his are waaay perfect...)
As a physics student, I'm amazed the laws of physics have changed to allow the friction to only work one way like that... -_-
Hmmm... well I think with the BS wash its meant to be a good soak, so I dunno if spraying it on would get it soaked in enough...

Not sure about spray bottle, but I use a sports drink bottle. That way you can direct where you want it to go and its a much more efficient process than dropping a litre of solution randomly on your head... hope that helped slightly 
Soo, I go for a nice long run every now and then... when I can be arsed. But my question to everyone is... would you say the gentle bouncing of the hair whilst running is good for getting it all knotted, or the sweat and shaking is actually making the hair detangle? I can't decide on which one!
