The Demon Drink

General Questions

We all make excuses for our behaviors, but if its excessive, id say its problem. U may think ur not an alcoholic, but ur addicted to alcohol. Dont wanna tell u what to do, but im assuming since u made it public, u wanted unbiased views from strangers. Saying ur not an alcoholic sounds like denial, and the mere fact that you make provisions to have it once a week, or one drink every 4 hours, means u need it in ur life enough that you make these provisions. If u werent addicted or an alcoholic you wounldnt keep count of when u drank last. Ill drink here n there, but never to get drunk or be social. I drink a glass of sangria at a restaurant cuz i like the taste, and because i am a husband and father n im usually driving thats all ill have with my meal. I can sympathize with you because i also have an addictive personality, i either hate something or i love it, theres really no in between with me. This is why ive never smoked weed, cuz i know i could become addicted. I understand ur feeling of not wanting to join AA, but if u cant do it on ur own, then maybe being around others that are going through the same and have successfully quit wouls help. Maybe you couls start ur own ssupport group? Maybe find some folks n meet weekly, more as a group of support friends as opposed to being under the AA umbrella. Dont mean to preach to you bro, just my humble opinion. Bless.

baby dreads remove wax

Dread Maintenance

Yea the 50 was a waste homie sorry to tell u. With t n tge dreads will fall apart then theyll tighten up again in te but its a process. Wax just makes it look likr u got dreads but u dont. Dreads need freedom to move, the friction cause the locks to form, wax prevents that. I was in the samw boat, had wax in for 5 months n i took me 4-5 applications of wax be gone from dreadlockshampoo.com. if u got the patience to let them do their thing then stick wit it, if not, thay wax is gonna keep moisture in n evemtually cause rot, n belieeeeve me u dont want that. Best of luck, bless.

Looking For Pro Stylist In Florida

General Questions

Save ur money dude, go natural. I wasted 4 bills to get mine started n maintained, and another one to remove all tge damage, n i didnt even crocheted, just twisted. If u ever take them out post crochet, ull lose a ton of hair, if u do so after natural/neglect youll keep most of it. You gotta ask urself whether instant beauty is worth hundreds plus tge health of ur hair. Ur a pretty woman, a cpl months of messiness wont change that. At the end of the day, i gonna do what u want, but the wisdom ur getting here is from folks that went natural, and some that made mistakes that took moonths/years to repair, that are just trying to save others from making them. Good luck on ur choice. Bless

GAH! Dandruff ACROSS and UNDER the bands..

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

I use that shampoo n have no druff issues. Could it be that the bands are keeping some sort of residue from a product in ur scalp? And yea Adam is 100% correct, them bands gotta go, may not be an issue now, but when ur dreads lock up n weigh down on that weak spot ur dreads will break. The roots should be wider than tge dread to support its weight, similar to the foundation of a home. U can try washing with cool water n rinsingwith cold water(this sucks btw lol) this temporarily reduces the release of oils from ur scalp by closing the pores on ur head. N deff try the rosemary teatree bar from that site, shit is money. Hope this helps. 1.

Everybody just chill man, yall shouldnt be offended one way or another, people are gonna say what they wanna say, n pigeonhole u into a group, religion, or place in society. As long as those close to you respect you n dont do ir to you, thats all that matters. When people ask me if im a rasta i say yea sure i am, just leave me alone lol. Bless, 1.

using beeswax for a year then converting to natural. NEED TIPS !!

Help! Save My Dreads

Whattup my dude, I did the same thing you did to start, I'm also mulatto and my hair has dreaded real fast since I removed my wax with the wax be gone. I had 6months worth of buildup and it took me 4 applications. We even got the same length hair, so you should get similar results. (Similar texture too it looks like) I have lock magic gel bit barely use it, only for special occasions. as far as itching goes that's a by product of all the Shit they put in your hair, after a few bs washes with oils and sea salt and ur acv wash, it'll be gone, only to return. every 3-4 days when it needs. to be washed. Best of luck homie , any questions hit me up.
