Thoughts on bone and antler dread beads?

Dread Accessories

SE - I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to your fox. :( You wouldn't still happen to be in PA would you? I've only read things that you've said and I think you'd be a fantastic person to meet!Australe - I know it's already been said but I see nothing wrong with creating art from deer leftovers. I know the animal didn't die just for it's bone. You're just making use of what nobody wants to eat! That being said, if you do make beads out of bone and antler, I just might want to buy one off of you! :) I think that would just be the coolest thing, making use of something like that and carrying 'the spirit of the wild' with you in your locks. I can't wait until I can put things in my hair. X)

NAtural dreadlocks gettin kind of a downer

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

I take fish oil every day, and although it won't make your hair grow overnight, I've noticed a little added growth in my hair in the few months I've been taking it. :) Good luck!

so many strays!

crochet and dread tools recovery

If you're too 'lazy' for saltwater than you probably won't want to sew them. Plus if they're prety solid now that might cause more damage. :) But if you're ever wanting to get fancied up for a special occasion, use a tapestry needle (not a super sharp pointed one that will damage your hair) and loop-and-through bunches of little flyaways around and inside the dread you want it to merge with. Like I said if your dreads are solid this would probably damage them, but if you have softies and are careful I don't see why not. It can be very time consuming but helps tame some of the frizz if you're real OCD about it.

Your hair is definitely evolving! :) Lookin good!
