Family are who you want to be with. They don't have to be blood related. Blood relations, what do you owe them if they are impolite and insulting???? As for siblings, I have 1 sister only. She is a bitch. I would never ever have her as a friend, so why would I visit her....I don't....don't care to be around negativity and evilness, she is a bad vibe person and that is not who I am, have never been. My son got married in October, she was invited but never showed up, never replied by RSVP, never called him. Why did she not go? She did not want to share the love of two people because she divorced 5 years ago. I have washed my hands of her, that was the final straw of her always being a Bitch to people. My mother lives in my house and asked me last night why I don't visit my sister, I plainly told her because I don't like her.

We owe our happiness to our-self. We do what is good for us, not what is only good for others. Poison is contagious, so I stay away from people are just that....period...family or not....

Don't wear yourself out with shallowness, be yourself, you're a great person Noodle-Doo, stay true and stay happy.....peace

Hi Noodle-Doo, first off want to say that you have a wonderful strong chin, love the chiseled look to it. I know you had a job before when you had a beard, do you have one now? Although it should not be, I can see future employers perhaps passing you up due to the bearded dread & head together. It is unfortunate, but it happens. That being said, I love dreaded beards, if I was a guy I would probably grow one, but then I am self employed, so no employer would turn me down. Depending on your field of work, it is acceptable, like a mechanic. So here is a dilemma I would have...if I had your chiseled, strong looking chin, I don't know if I would grow one, I am not vain in any way, but yours looks like a work of art & I would not hide it behind a beard. Don't blush now, just saying.......Peace

I am also passed a year now, started with mine almost to my waist, most went above my shoulders, Now I am starting to notice a little growth, but then again I started taking Biotin about a month ago to speed up the growth. When I first started, I was aware of shrinkage, but holey shit, not like this!! Somehow it took me by surprise.

Thank you! Yeah, they are probably between one third and one quarter of the original hair length now, and that includes the year of hair growth in between. Think it's stopped shrinking and started growing out now.

I was never that bothered about ageing and greying and stuff, but dreading has taught me even more that it doesn't matter. I don't have locks to try and look good, so why should the colour matter? (Though I do like dyed ones on other people, can be really cool). I'm really into the idea of the growth of dreads recording the history of a person, and getting older is all part of that.
