Hi! I am a SAHM and have an almost 2 year old as well. Not pregnant though! I haven't worked up that nerve yet
.I always colored my hair too, but since starting my neglect dreadies, I haven't colored my hair. It has been about 8 months and my greys are super showing, but I don't want conditioners in color to offset my progress.Once my dreads are mature, I will dye them, but my hair already looks A mess, might as well embrace it. Letting my greys be at 27 years old has been very freeing for me too.

That's cool. This was in Savannah. The art college had their annual sidewalk chalk art event. There were hundreds of squares of art done in chalk. It was amazing.

So, yesterday, we went to an art fair at a park in the city. I actually saw some dreads on some people there and it was so exciting to see some in real life! Lol. My husband was with me and he actually made a comment about how cool they looked. He wanted to know when mine would be mature.
He's silly and thought that I had already been at this for a year at least (I'm about 8 months in). Before, he wasn't too thrilled with the idea of me having dreads. Now he says that he likes them and that my hair really suits me. I'm so happy! Had to share

I'm in GA too! I either put mine up or just wear less clothes to make up for having them down. We are about 1.5 hours from the beach and we go all the time!

You can wash with baking soda then rinse with apple cider vinegar, or get a liquid shampoo or shampoo bar from www.dreadlockshampoo.com
I have used all of the above. The shampoo bars are my favorite.
