Why is the community here so against maintained locs?

Dreading Methods

Agree Rebecca. This site is here to inform you not change youropinion.Ultimately, it's your choice in the end to retain it and do how you so choose. I once used tore-twistmy hair, for 10 years to be exact. I found this site after some searching and now my video is used as educational purposes only to show others the dangers ofre-twisting. Trust me,re-twistingdoes look good, but in the end no hair at all sucks!

I can say about 65% so far. Not where I want to be. but its a healing and moving forward progress from this point on.

Thanks for sharing my experience Britany. Now, take a look at my progress now. It was a result fromtwistingjust once a month. The progress in my after pictures is what my scalp suppose to look like and I will continue to treat them properly.

Help! Save My Dreads

Here's my update as of 2/26/13. Looking at the pictures from when I started this healing process, I can see some improvements. Some hair has grew back, but still left with this annoying bald spot. Will horsetail work, cause I've tried many things so far recommended to me and can't find that one thing that works. Any suggestions???

Help! Save My Dreads

At the rate I'm approving, I hope to see a full recovery within 2 to 3 months, but only time will tell. Do you know if Panterra saw my progress and I also started a new group. Check it out!
