facial flaking after baking soda and acv (followed exact amounts from the baking soda and sea salt ratios page)

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

http://www.dreadlockssite.com/photo/facial-flaking-after-baking-soda-and-acv-followed-exact-amounts?context=user#.UC28ORw_-EJ i just tried applying a small mixture of baking soda and water and applied it directly to my forehead, eye brows, and nose and left it for 15 mins then rinsed it off reallllly good and it's still the same as before. i have dandruff, in my hair line still but apart from that my scalp feels pretty goood! so i just find it weird how the baking soda/acv rinse works great for my scalp (apart from forehead hairline) but makes me flake tons on my forehead, eyebrows and nose. you guys got any ideas?????? any feedback is appreciated!!!!! :):)

Dandruff on scalp and in dreadlocks.

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

hey!! yeh i have this exact same problem, mainly around my hairline. but yeh i have been having dandruff problems along my dread journey for ages now and i still have it but it has improved alot! and i'm trying out a new washing schedule of the the rosemary and teatree oil shampoo bar every 2 days and then the baking soda and vinegar rinse every month! i'm really hoping this works. soaring eagle recommends this washing schedule for me and it might just work for you to!

Dread Maintenance

thanks for the reply soaring eagle!! :) yeh those ones look really good! i am thinking about getting the tea tree and rosemary bar soap as the first one to try. do you think that one should get rid of all my dandruff? i must have most sensitive scalp on earth or something because as good as the baking soda/vinegar rince is for me it still leaves dandruff in my hair (around the front it's probably the worst). and even when there isn't much dandruff left after the wash. the next day it randomly appears. and whenever iscratch my head, dead skin/dandruff will flake off my scalpe just from scratching it.

I know that thethis baking soda/vinegarrinse with all the oils is an amazing rince (because it leaves my hair feeling so good), but it's just my scalp. I'm not going to give up and I'm determined to keep my locks for many more years but first I must find a bar soap/shampoo/etc that gives me no dandruff what so ever! Do you think it's a wise idea to start off ordering the tea tree/rosemary bar soap to start off? Cheers

this is an amazing wash! i've started doing it as my normal wash but it's proving to be quiet expensive to keep it up. Soaring Eagle which shampoo/soap do you recommend ordering from http://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/ ? i am looking for the one that's the best for dandruff. which one do you recommend?

Dread Maintenance

this is amazing soaring eagle!! i tried it and my dreads and scalp are super clean :) but there is still white build up inside the core of some of my dreads, it's pretty noticable, i was wondering what you would recommend to get it out? i've been thinking about doing the boiling/very hot water method but i'm not sure and would rather do what you think i should do. (also i've never used wax)
