It's true. Robo tripping wouldn't have been as big as it was for a while. I did it a few times, myself. Not worth it at all. The first time was amazing, but the next 2 I got so sick, I spent an hour throwing up in the bathroom
Boycotting for that would do nothing. Especially if you said it was because it was dangerous. Every gas station sell cigs. You can't boycott gas stations in general
I don't smoke at all anymore. My girlfriend still does and all of my friends. It's not hard to be around it if you set your mind to not smoking. When the bowl is passed to you, just remind yourself what the consequences would be if you were to cave even for one hit
Don't do it. Crocheting at all is bad for your locks. It breaks hairs and makes the lock weaker. If you have longer locks and crochet the root, you are puttingunnecessaryweight on broken hairs. You risk more chance of them falling out.
Plus, crocheting only looks good for about a day. Once you wash, you end up with more and more loose hairs sticking out of your lock. The more the crochet to fix those hairs the more you create.
It'll take a long time for your locks to recover from what you've already done, but it's worth it to have stronger and more long lasting locks in the end
move to Philly. Lol. Up to an 30 grams is amisdemeanorand a simple fine. No courts, no probation, no anything. Just a money order and you're free to go.
For now, yeah, just jump through their hoops. There's nothing you can do at this point. But next time, smoke before you go out, or roll a joint that you can crush under foot really easily. No bags to pull prints off of
Well... I'd pick on any major religion for the same reasons. For me, it's not just Christians. Jews are all crazy. Their onlyredeeming quality is their stress on education and knowledge and how women have a little more control than in other religions. I can make fun of jews, though. I was raised jewish. Islam, as it stands, today, and not in Sharia Law, is very close to jewdaism. I don't have much of a problem with them. It's just the extremists that are nuts.
I don't have a problem with others believing what they want to. And you haven't really gone as far as to bebelligerent. I appreciate that. I am just voicing my opinion just like you can voice yours.
I believe that you have come to this discussion with a reasonable attitude, but to say that you believe that gays are an abomination but in that same breath say that you aren't judging them is misguided. If you believe that the bible is the word of god and follow it to it's fullest, including all of the judgement that goes along with its interpretation, you are following judgement, therefore judging.
As a scientist, I'll admit that there is no way to disprove creationism. You can't prove a negative. But evolution has been proven. It's even been proven how a random assortment of gasses under the right conditions could come together and spawn life as we know it.
I,personally, can't believe in a book as fact unless it's got fact to site itself on. There's no difference, to me, between the bible and an L. Ron Hubbard book. People read it and think it's true. Hell, people think Jedi's are real. Does a book make it true?
And not to be a cliche, but if everything in the bible happened, that was what, 2-3000 years ago. Why doesn't god do that stuff anymore? Sure, you can say it happens every day, but we take it for granted so we don't really know it's God, but come on... Where's our generations profit? Oh, right, it's the crazy guy on the corner that everyone calls insane and gets locked up in a mental hospital. If Jesus did come back, no one would notice. He'd be labeled a dirty barefoot hippie and shunned like the rest of us. No one would take him seriously and no one would listen to him.
I know there are a lot of different sects of christianity, but Catholics are the worst or the worst. They don't even believe in reading the bible for themselves. they put all of their trust in the pope, and hope that heinterpretsit right. And that means that from pope to pope you can get a different interpretation.
The only part of the bible worth reading is the words in "red". Those are supposedly Jesus's actual words. The rest is up for any and all misguided interpretations. If you want to be a good person, rip out those pages and black out everything in black. Staple it back together and go from there. You could make a cool cover if you wanted... like "The Bible: The adventures of Jesus Christ"
Eagle, not to mention that it's been proven over and over again that the bible was written by dozens of people over hundreds of years. They can analyze the writing. They see when styles change and language changes. Cross reference that with other writing from the time and you can tell that it wasn't all written in the same year, let alone century.
