So my locs are 3 months old and are coming along very nice no complaints. recently my hair has been coming loose from a loc and start forming into on of there own... this is exciting for me but im wondering on how these little new locs that are so thin will get bigger and prominent?

Who else had/has to deal with people telling them they should get their dreads done "properly"?

I have alot and since my dreadies are so short a lot of people just think im nappy and urging me to go get my hair twisted professionally 
the semi neglect method has my dreadies looking beautiful only after 3 months... I also get a lot of question about washing only to surprise them with telling them that i wash as i often as i please, but usually twice a week. I never plan to have a loctician touch my hair it isunnecessary, im just as capable and also know my dreads far better than a salon could....

i wash it every 3-5 days and it stays perfectly. i wear a beanie around justbecause....tho i dont really need it anymore

Thank you all. i put gold twist on the ones that wouldnt stay since i couldn't get a bead to stay... im excited to never twist again it felt as if it was unbeneficial

hello fellow dreadies i was wondering if my hair looked like it was on the right road to dreadlocks... im only a month n a half in im not expecting for them to look like dreads yet but i just want to make sure im doing things right. i wash regularly and love them daily thanks 4 the feedback
