Dread Maintenance

Hey i need help how to separate my dreads. Ive had them for almost months now . I regret noy following up with the separating and now i have about like 5dreads matting together on the back of my headx. I onlyhave 23 dreads whatshould i do? Theyre pretty knotted up at the roots together. Ive been using the baking soda wash and leave them be. Tie them up or wear a tam. Have loops and zig zags i just leave them alone. Should i go to a salon and get them fixed and clean? Kinda want to look presentable at work

I really hate oils in my scalp and hair. Is there any other way to wash my scalp?

Its been about a week of using the twist and rip method and gotten many compliments. I used no products and no chemicals just dandruff shampoo. Ive grown my hair for 3 years and finally decided to do my locks. Hope you guys like them. Sorry about the bathroom pic. Im at work and im bored and decided to do this now. My hair was originally down to my lower back.
