I know that with different hair types it varies on how quickly hair will dread but should I be getting some knots now or will it take longer since my hair type is smooth with a little wave in it.

Hey y’all I have a question I just moved out to Utah (Woodland Hills to be exact) and I noticed that when I take a bath the water feels like there’s residue. I’ve been neglecting my hair and coming to almost two months on my journey. I’ve been wading with Dollylocks shampoo bar to use it up before I use my dreadlock shampoo that I got here. I haven’t started any knots my hair is just big and fluffy. Is the water the cause of this, my hair type which has a natural wave to it or should I switch my shampoo? Don’t know what’s going on please help!

Ya I actually found out that I wasn’t wetting my hair that much I took a bath and washed my hair that way and it’s been working fine ever since. I ordered some Nag Champa which I’m super excited to use but I’m going to go through the bar first before I use my other stuff.

Anybody used the Dollylocks shampoo bar in a hard water area and got good results? Ordered one a while ago and the liquid doesn’t work for me not sure if I should return it or not.

Hi my name is Sasha Floyd I started my dreadlock journey almost a month ago (Oct 13) I’m doing the neglect method this time. I’ve had dreads about five times now never got past the itchy phase so this time I’m going all natural. So far so good I just recently ordered some of the dreadlock shampoo from this site because before I was using California Baby shampoo which cleaned out very nicely (I have hard water) but I wanted to try out Dollylocks since so many people love it. Unfortunately it didn’t work for me since I do live in an area that has hard water. So when I get my new shampoo hopefully I’ll start seeing some knots. Love to be here and get to be friends with fellow dread heads. 😊
