Yeah, I found out I don't want to use lemon the hard way. I used it for a week and had massive amounts of itching and dandruff until about 3 weeks ago. I was like a freaking snow machine.

Introduce Yourself

Names Andy. I started my dread journey about 3 months ago. I also made an account soon after but didn't feel like posting yet. I started my dreads by way of TnR. I'm biracial and my hair is wild and crazy so I decided to start with that so it would be sectioned. Since then I've mostly just left it to do what it wants. I just wash, sleep on wool or with a wool beanie and occasionally use salt and aloe depending on how dry or non dry my hair is at the moment.

I tried some other things like lemon which was utter murder on my scalp, but right now my hair seems to be healthy and dreading nicely.

Dread Maintenance

What really helped my scalp is aloe vera. It calms the living skin and also breaks down dead skin cells. My dreads used to be like Christmas but now they're dandruff free.

This is so sad...why am I laughing?

Cracked is a comedy website. They even contradict their previous articles, just for laughs. Sure, you can simply not like their humour, but if cracked offends you you're clearly doing it wrong.
