Update: 9 months in, after a good scrub and blow dry.
So, I've got a ton of loose and stray hairs from breakage and just not forming into other dreads around the hairline of my entire head...will these make their way into another dread or dread up on their own eventually, or is there something I can do to encourage their assimilation?

I guess I've grown a healthy mental callus to the absolutely abysmal customer "service" I usually receive when making purchases online but I was quite literally taken aback by her sweetness. I bought the shampoo bar in the sandalwood/tonka bean flavour and the tea tree oil and rosemary liquid shampoo. She also tucked in some patchouli bar soap and a little sample of the tea tree oil shampoo. The ingredients and her philosophy drew me in but the service will keep me coming back for MOAR!!!

I ordered some shampoo and soap from Bucks County Soap Co. and a little care package was waiting for me when I woke up this evening. Included in said package were the items I had ordered as well as a bunch of little treats and a receipt with a hand-written note of thanks from Vicky, which I thought was super sweet and a nice personal touch that I don't see anymore. What a nice surprise and it's no wonder her/their products come so highly recommended.
Combing through the pictures on my phone has revealed something of myself; every "selfie" I have, with the following exception, is featuring me making some kind of dumb face which I'm sure is a coping mechanism for my underlying social anxiety. Anyway, one pic is from shortly after some of the first TnR dreads (taken by my youngest) and the second one is from approximately 6 weeks later and was taken in one of my favorite places with 3 generations of my fellow humans.

Hey y'all, I've had my dreadies for ~6 months now and I'm just gonna leave some pics here so I can see how my journey changes over time. My last haircut was almost 3 years ago and my dreads are a mix of natural and TnR. I wear a hard hat at work and work in shitty environments so my head is wrapped up for ~2100 hours per year. I love my beanies and slouchy toques a ton!
