hey man it ain't that simple, i'm still in college with no scholarship so as long as i'm getting their financial help i'm willing to be patient. It's just a matter of time now so it s all good. Though i reckon that it was extremely infuriating to have my 2.5 years old dreadlocks cut out of nowhere. I'm already growing it back, dreadlocks are all about patience i believe.

Abrupt end of journey

Last summer, went back to Morocco.
Plane landed on July 8, Sunday afternoon.
Monday, my parents asked me to cut dreads. I refused.
Tuesday, I was to either cut them or get out of the house for good. I chose to cut them.

That's what I get for being born muslim i guess. Then again, I'll be restarting some time in the future, though it might have to wait for a couple years. It was nice to have dreadlocks, I appreciate the help this community provides. I wish you all the best.

I'll be Bach.

About using oils on your dreads

Dread Maintenance

yeah i did same with water but it s not effective, i d spray water mixed with a few drops beforehand but i'd feel that my hair is still easy to break and hard to separate. it s cuz of my afro textured hair, it doesn't get wet unless you pour a lot of / sink it in water. i ll check on dollylocks to see what they got

About using oils on your dreads

Dread Maintenance

My hair gets too dry and i don't think it helps in the process. i thought i'd get a carrying oil and put in some drops of essential oils, then apply it carefully on my dreadlocks. So does it have to be done everyday or is it fine to just do it once in between 2 showers?

What? 20min? How do you do it? last time it took me almost a whole Saturday to separate X)

do you separate after every shower? I only do it once in a while maybe that's why. i just feel like separating too much slows down the process

correct me if i'm wrong cuz your locks look mighty fine in your 9 months pics!
