olive oil soap bar

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

so i came across this 100% natural, hand made olive oil soap bar..i tries it out and my hair and scalp both feel awesome!

i got some questions though about olive oil..

is it more of a conditioner or dranduff controller or any other thing?

cos if its a conditioner im scared if i keep using the hair will get too soft and it wont dread propery.

and do any of u think theres residue in this bar soap?

please, any information is welocme and appreciated, thanks!

baking soda?

Introduce Yourself

baking soda is same as bicarbonate of soda...dont put baking powder, baking powder only has a certain percentage of baking soda, rest is like tatar, flour n other stuff u dont want them in your hair

Just a little check in: I am wondering :)

General Questions

i expereince the same thing...and i think its completely normal. i think wen it gets flat like that, it means its dreading.

ive got backcombed crocheted dreads, which were round initially, and now most places are getting flatter (not only at roots)...and i can fell them knotting up n dreading

hope this helped :D

Hello everyone!

Introduce Yourself

maybe your hair is a bit too short, and yueah shudnt play with your hair as well, shudnt run your finger thru etc.

dont worry though, just let it grow, it will definetey happen :D

i learned that the hard way,

Thinking about starting over with the natural method

Dreading Methods

hey, i think i have same kind of probem, im 4 months into crochet dreads...and now im recovering

i love most of the dreads, but there are one or two whos behaving very naughty :O (lot of frizz and seems to be no changes)

so what i did like two weeks back was, i took one dreads completely out exept for like an inch near the roots.

and that one i tnr'd but it fell apart in a day (i suck at tnr'ing!) then i jus didnt bother.

now i can feel its startin the lockin up process aready!

i think this might be a good idea for you.

just take out the oness that are misbahaving and just leave em...im plannin to take out 2 or 3 more ouut of mine
