Haha seriously. Only two weeks but it does feel like at least a month. The big one is almost fully formed, it's shrunk down about halfway and the rest of the length is dreading up nicely. So far it's my dreadliest one lol. Then there's these ones in pic, they're the ones I showed in my one week update. The one middle one is my favorite overall, it makes me think of like seahorse tails tangling together. I have a few in back like that too but I can't quite see them lol.

@soaring-eagle yeah, my head is like a big ball of mesh now haha. Except now it's much more sectioned, aside from the very front 😃 The bottom in back sections keeps trying to join so I feel like they'll be some of my bigger dreads, I guess cause of how I sleep but they're coming along nicely. And combing used to be such a pain, I always went little by little starting near the ends to prevent ripping hair out lol.

@peaceful-passer I agree with you there, I've always thought my hair was made to be dreaded, like I was born to have dreadlocks lol. I'm so excited to actually be doing it properly now, and equally as much, if not more, for the experience as I am for the look. It's funny because it's the only way my hair will actually look "neat, yet there'd be occasional dirty looks given to me. But the same with my hair messy as it is right now. So I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't lol. Too bad for them, I gave up on caring about what people think a long time ago 😊

I can relate to that. When I was a teenager I used to comb my hair wet all the time, I guess hoping that it would eventually stay tame and straight. Never worked lol. Which is why I originally wanted to dread but up until finding this site and researching through it I never knew how. So far the natural experience has been amazing though. It's nice and freeing to let go of the things that need not be worried about lol.

Thank you! Yes, I feel loads better about it lol. I just stopped touching it really, and at the end of washing it I pushed the hair against the parting on both sides. I'm really enjoying watching my hair do its own thing.

That is horrible. The guy in the SUV was probably driving like a real douche who thinks he owns the road too. I just always steer clear of bikes, it's too risky to be too close.

Ouch...I'm sorry to hear that. I've thought about getting a license to ride but I don't know if I'd ever end up doing it. I feel like most of the roads in Jersey are so beat up and the freshly paved ones don't last cause they erode quickly. The only one I'd probably feel comfortable with is the parkway. But then there are all the shitty drivers to worry about. It's amazing how some people can figure out how to dress themselves with how clueless they are behind the wheel.

oof...well I can't quite relate to that extreme, but I can understand how shitty that's got to be. For me when it gets too hot I usually only sweat out my scalp, but the rest of my body just kind of tenses up and it gets very overwhelming. When I was a kid I would get sick every day in school cause of it to the point they'd stop sending me home haha. Temperature-wise those numbers sound about right for me. But inside as long as there's flowing air and not stagnant I can deal with the 70's.

How did you get injured, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm the same way as far as temperature goes. I get hot really easy so I always wear a tank underneath my t-shirt so I can rid the shirt when needed, and that's only when I go out cause otherwise I'm usually shirtless. We're already in November and I'm still dressing for summer lol. I have a couple heavy jackets for winter but they're a waste cause I'll wear a hoody through the season and just a shirt if I'm shoveling snow. The cool is way more comfortable for me. Heat just makes me irritable.

I think it's more about self pride and just an excuse to feel good about living here haha. It is pretty beat most of it, but I do like it way up north around the Sparta area. The mountains are awesome and there's plenty of woods to feel at peace away from everything.

Go figure that I live where everyone comes for summer vacation at the Jersey Shore cause of that stupid show. I don't even remember the last time I actually went to the beach aside from spending a few minutes at the bay last year. Media and people glorify it here even though it is a drug haven. Propaganda probably.
