i kinda understand.. if thy will end up resulting in too big dreads (more then slightly too big) then yea u might have to
be careful how you do though

Hey! I have about 50 dreads currently, most sections are within the 1" x 1" size but some (about 4 of them) are bigger and have sections of hair joining with them from further away on my scalp than I'd want, I've probably let them congo accidentally. I really don't want to comb these beauties out so what I've been doing is ripping the sections that I don't want in the dreads from the root downwards and then cutting the sections off of the dread from where they won't budge anymore. Some of them however are locked in super tight at the root. Is it ok to just cut some of the section off? Resulting in like tiny little baby dreads about 4-5cm in length next to the dread?

i would do it now while they are easier to comb out, but they might try to blunt again anyway

Heyo! I'm about 10 months in. Some of my dreads have formed fat blunted tips and I'm really not a fan of the look. I want loose ends. If I comb the ends out will that interfere with the dreading process of the rest of the dread? Should I let them mature before I comb them out?
i have zero experience with that but as long as its sprayed on the surface and rinses out with ease ..it maybe ok but..since i don't know for sure use at your own risk
but cosplays not so much about realism i mean if a black man can play a white character or a Chinese woman a black male character or a white chick play a dog...why cant a redhead play a black haired character

And yeah, that's true, I just like to get as near to the original character as possible appearance-wise. It's just a lot of fun in my opinion
Hey everyone! A complete newbie here, this is my first post
I have been dreading my hair for 8 or 9 months now and it is pretty wild, there are some cool locks forming and I love it so far. My problem is that I'm going to go to a con this summer and I'm planning to cosplay a couple of different characters. The other one has quite messy hair so it'd be great if I could just dye my hair black for that day somehow, since wigs are a bit problematic.
So, is spray on hair dye bad for dreads? I could do a deep cleanse afterwards.
Also, any tips on wearing wigs with dreadlocks?
