Need more info on how to keep my dreads

Dread Maintenance

just let them alone is my advice. there is already a lot of damage because of crocheting and you

don't want to damage them even worse.

Let them recover first and only do separation like SE said and your going good!

fuller and healthier

Dread Maintenance

I think vinegar is not a conditioner, its for balancing the ph of your scalp, cause bs is alcaline.

Introduce Yourself

Heimo and his family is pretty impressive. I like their simple and pure life they live and enjoy far

from society.

If i would have the choice, i'd pick an carribean island where it's warm though =)

Good luck for your alaska trip!

washing and some really fine hair

Dread Maintenance

Hey!

the wax is just conservation your hair. Under that layer your hair isn't able to move, so it

won't get any knots and you need the knots to become dreads...

Just look at the pics of other members in the first couple of month stages. All their hair is

a big mess to get as much knots as possible.

So to get your real dreading process going, you def have to get the wax out first! Check

the "saved my dreads" stories in the forum section. There you find several advices how

to remove the wax!

Wish you the best!

Yeah they will dread one day, thats for sure!

It's mostly part of the recovery process from crocheting!

Go on and everything will turn great!
