Some how-to hairstyles

Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

yeah no doubt, the hairstyles are very nice!

I was just complaining the link to the "dreadfactury" where the hook ist in use on customers

and featured in the "self dreading" section.

But for sure its a nice move to share the styles with us!

Some how-to hairstyles

Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

Hey Marv! I like the pics of hairstyles, too. But why do you guys "do" dreadlocks by crocheting?

Backcombing first is'nt the healthiest treatment for hair, but using the crochet hook for maintainance is

kind of evil and causes a lot of irreparable damage.

Sorry, but this site features cash free healthy dreadlocks!

cheers,

Frank

"doing" ROOTS "

Dread Maintenance

welcome Roni!

your roots need no extra treatment, just wash your hair 2-3 times a week.

If your hair grows your roots will dread without any help!

Jah bless!

Been dreading for 6 months. They won't stay dreaded!

Dread Maintenance

Hey Torgeier!

my advice would be not to wear a beanie all working day long, cause your hair isn't able to

move at all and movement produces knots.

Switch to a Tam while working, cause your hair can move and the sweat on your scalp is able

to dry.

I work in the cold weather outside a lot, too and i made good progress by wearing a Tam!

Jah bless!

facepalm......

General Talk

this is the result of the "nothing is for free" society thinking and the "Time is money, so don't waste any" crap.

I'm glad that there are still some people on the planet thinking different!

Should I take out my current dreads (backcombed) to let my hair knot naturaly?

dread wax and dread kits recovery

Hey Ashley!

Just to stop waxing any more is not enough, the wax must be removed out of your hair.

With wax still remaining, your hair is not able to dread proper. Use the search function, there are

plenty of advices how to recover from wax.

Good luck!

Dodgy patch.

Help! Save My Dreads

It seems like you would sleep on this spot and the loops at the roots get pushed to the

side...

think its nothing to worry about. Will probably change when the loops grow out of the roots section.

Congos... Going bad

Help! Save My Dreads

I guess the longer you wait the harder it gets to seperate them. So my opinion is

to seperate now or never. Oil or conditioner will help a bit.

good luck!
