Shea butter?

I've heard that shea butter is good for dreads, i don't know if that's true but i vas hoping some of you can help me out, I wouldnt ask if I havent also read that its the same as dread wax or beeswax or gel and such... The person who wrote this apperantly didn't know much about it because she compared it to wax and other stuff not knowing shea butter is used for moisturizing and keeping dreads healthy, so what ima interasted in is is that what she's saying true and doeis it make a build up in your hair and stop it from locking, or does it help? I and I appreciate your help amd peace and uhuru to all.

Well i know,but i dont want this to grow, i wouldnt like to see this becoming an argument between you and him about what's scummy and who's right etc, just saying that nobody should start anything, eaven if he did, dont let it bother you, if you do no one on their side will listen to ours and vice versa, just say what you need to teach and let his actions speak for themselves and show what kind of person he is...

Well, believe it or not, i wouldnt, maybe a little, but it doesnt make much difference if someone is saying bad stuff to me or sombody else (who doesnt desearve it), maybe a year ago i would be angry, but not now. I've had a lot of hate tossed at me because of my lifestile in primary/elememtary school (im in croatia so that lasts until im 15) i used to cope with it with negativity, but not anymore, i see much more important things in life then hate, would your hate change that person, if he doesnt like you and accuses you of bad things does your opinion matter to him? You could hate him all you want but he wont change a bit, all you gain with hate and negativity is just more hate and negativity, i'm not saying i dont agree with you, but something like this shouldnt occupy our minds. Eaven if it angers you. If, lets say, a person going for dreads sees what dreads uk thinks about you and thinks he's right, but still goes and checks you out, would seeing you saying his way is scummy make that person think you are indeed the right one to believe, not really... Show the people the way of peace and they will listen, peace SE

Whoah, lets not waste our time on whats scummy and what isn't, just embrace it and move on, if this thing's going to happen it should be about educating not who's a better dreadhead.... Peace and uhuru

I agree completely, a lot of people dont know anything about dreads and decide to make them, they think the only way is the crochet method, and then they screw up, weaken their hair, maybe loose a few dreads stc, or they decide to loose the dreads by colmbing them out and find that their hair is severely damaged form excesive crocheting, brethren need to know what they are doing just in case, i see how crochetting if dome really carefuly and not often wouldnt be very harmfull or slowing down much less but it still weakens your dreads, and for what, for a cilindrical eaven shape? Its totaly unneeded, just wet palmroll each one cter showering and they should get pretty eaven

I just wanted to say that lazy dreads in fact is for the natural way, i have watched all of his videos and he's said that if he could go back he wouldnt start them by backcombing, hes had them for a long time, seven years i think, and only maintnance he has ever done is drying them with a towel which you could say is wet palmrolling, just all of the dreads at once...

Ok, well another thing to consider, he lives in the uk right? And im from croatia, thats not to far considering time zones, me and him heve a time differance of na hour most, probably not eaven that, but i dont know where are you exactly and what time zone...

I'd love to, i just don't really know how to use google + exactly but a little bit of explanation will get me trough... Other than that i'll be happy to, i love debates
I'll be on the freeform side if you're wondering...Just wondering when will it take place, i realise you're sick which is bad...Not just because of the sickness itself but because i have this week available for the dicscussion, i have no parents home for most of the day and im on my winter brake from school, and it would be weird if my parents have to hear me arguing about dreads with a bunch of people over my tablet :p , but Ou know, if you're sick you're sick, nothing we can do about it, i hope youll get better soon
