Bs/ACV Wash.

Introduce Yourself

I dont know I've been using is since October 1st. Maybe taking my hair longer to adjust.

It may look oily for the first week or two. This is because normal shampoos strip your hair of all the natural oils it produces, so now that you aren't washing with that ur hair has to readjust the amount of oil. Does that make sense? lol bs/acv doesnt strip the hair but still cleans so after a transitional period (oily hair for about a week) your hair will become self-regulating

Bs/ACV Wash.

Introduce Yourself

Yes I rinsed between all of them, my hair is typically oily. It starts looking oily after about two days after washing, I don't know about the tree tea oil it says," For skin and scalp, helps with itchy scalp, vitamin E, aloe vera, fungus fighter."

Hey! I'd suggest you cut down on the amount of BS that you use - I usually use just 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda and it does the job.

There has been a few times when I've noticed I haven't rinsed the BS out properly - it feels dirty and abit...gucky. So when you think you are done rinsing - rinse some more!

Good luck!:)

EDIT: Right, noticed here that your ratios are the ones recommended here aswell: http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/baking-soda-and-sea-salt... so that shouldn't really cause that much trouble. Have you used any other products in your hair that could leave a residue?

Bs/ACV Wash.

Introduce Yourself

So I used the baking soda and ACV wash and after it dried my hair looked oily as if I never washed it. I used a 1\2 cup of Bs to 5 cups of water and one teaspoon of ACV to 5 cups of water. I let the Bs sit in my hair for ten minutes and the ACV I rinsed immediately. So is it suppose to look oily or did I do anything wrong? I also used ten drops of tea tree oil to 5 cups of water. Also this is about the 7th or 8th time I washed with it.

Washing.

Introduce Yourself

I just ordered some shampoo from deadlockshampoo and I am going to go for natural dreads and I was wondering when I start washing if I just wash my scalp and let the shampoo run down my hair or can I ball my hair on top of my head and scrub it all if that makes any sense. Lol.-Thanks
