dreadlock shampoo!!

Dread Products

Tea tree and Rosemary bar is excellent. I've tried other bars and she always gives samples, but my scalp loves the tea tree.

PLANTS N HERBS THAT I CAN GROW FOR DAILY USE . .?

General Talk

Cilantro and parsley are my faves for eating. I am trying a witch hazel plant to use as a natural skin care/astringent. And of course lavender. My boyfriend used to raise nettles, too, but I am unsure of what they are used for.

Shampoo bars...

General Questions

Got my bars last week and loooove them. SE is probably right that you should alternate if you have hard to dread hair, but at 2 months I am having nothing but good experience with them. My hair feels so soft and my scalp feels moisturized and healthy. I am not experiencing any loosening but I have really curly and knotty hair so my dreads stay put really well. I am using the Teatree and the Goddess bars. Love 'em.Be well.

flat dreads

Introduce Yourself

Have some coffee.... :) Then wait. My jair used to try and dread while I slept and now that I am actually dreading I have noticed that sleeping reeeally helps with the process. They are already rounding out no matter how I sleep on them. Yes, they do get flat sometimes but they usually change by days end.Be well.

SHAMPOO?!?!

Dread Products

My order from dreadlocksshampoo.com arrived and I used it for the first time yesterday. Amaaaaazing! It was everything that people on the site said it was and more. I am not sure about the strengthening aspect but a good shampoo can't hurt your progress. The dreadie shampoo left my hair soft feeling but clean. Not dry and brittle. My friend swears by prenatal vitamins, though, and she does have a really super healthy head of hair.Be well... :)

What does everyone do with the front?

Introduce Yourself

Thanks everyone! Thinking I will probably dread the front now. Or at least most of it. Guess it can always be changed. Time to do something with the sloppy I've got going on in front.
