well.. I don't wear most of mine anymore but I love my piercings. I've had/have 2 in my nose, 1 eyebrow, 1 lip, 1 labre, 2 in my arm, and my favorite..my bridge...
I haven't gotten any tattoos yet, I think I have commitment issues when it comes topermanentthings.

I'd agree with some others, it's not your dreads that is doing this to you. There is no reason to be altering your mind state with such things, when the mind does a perfectly good job of altering your senses for you.
I'm the Store Manager of a Subway SandwichRestaurant. They don't really mind what you look like as long as you are at least a bit well kept and do you're job well. ;P
