2 month dreadiversary question

Alright thank you. I read a post on the forum a while back saying it's better to let it kinda web toward the roots and just to separate if the body of the dreads start to combine so I was just doing that. I may end up with a couple congos in the back or will have to comb them out. Thank you

alright so im offically at my 2 months stage. everything is going well. lots of crazy hair, lots of loose hair, a few loops and zigzags. it looked like it was trying to loop up about 3 weeks ago but they fell out and than the WEBBING started happening haha. at first i was concerned because it seemed like all my hair was trying to mat together at the roots and then it became more than just roots. hairs were trying to connect from the root and down a few inches. i started seperating every day and now they are more managable but some of them are so stuck together i cant seperate them without damaging the hair. should i just let them combine or do they normally loosen on their own? like i said they are connecting near the root and staying connected for an inch or so off the scalp. if i lift one up, others come with it. thanks!

How long have you been doing the bs/acv wash for? Correct me if I'm wrong everyone but for me it took a few weeks for my scalp to get used to it. I had a really itchy period where I had both dandruff and a couple head zits (oily areas) which were pretty gross to me since I've never had either of those issues before but the past couple weeks it's improved and while I still have some dandruff (which is pretty normal for me in winter to have a little) the oily spots and itchiness have gone away. As long as your using cold water I would try waiting a bit and if it doesn't get better switch back to the bars.

I'm glad you've asked these questions. I was starting to wonder the same thing. I started dreading a month ago and it's really starting to make a web near my scalp. Haha if you've only had them a week and they are already doing that they are progressing much faster than mine. Do you have any loops yet? Thank you baba fats for clearing that up for me. I was trying to separate like fiddle sticks second picture all the way to the root. Sometimes something that sounds so simple can be misunderstood by noobies like us. :p

If you have been on the pill for a year and a half and didn't notice any bodychanges in the first months of taking it you shouldn't worry. If your body didn't agree with the pill I'm sure it would have let you know right away. I have been through different kinds and the changes it did to me were always noticeable in the first couple months. i agree with se that it is probably just the back combing. If the pill is working for you id keep using it. It's hard for your body to adapt if you keep switching them

Yeah I think weather is an everywhere obsession. I live in Minnesota where people complain half the year because it's too cold and half the year where it's too hot. People are never satisfied why live here than I wonder?That's true oxygen is pretty awesome. Haha how do people respond when you rant about things like oxygen?

Haha that's awesome! I've probably had weirder dreams than people stealing pineapple cubes. It's not that I'm not comfortable with myself it's that I'm not comfortable with other people. As cynical as this probably sounds i don't want to be myself in public because i don't think anyone needs to know me. i just think small talk is useless. When people ask you how you are they generally don't actually care how you are but people are so scared of silence and see it as just being rude. Maybe something more one on one would be good.

I am so thankful to have found this site. There is such a sense of community and overall inclusion that you don't get elsewhere. Everyone is so great thank you everyone for your input. Lots of helpful ideas

There is nothing wrong with you beauzay its just a matter of where you get your energy from, the world outside of you or the world inside of you. The only problem with labeling yourself as an introvert is that you tend to make it a bigger deal than it should be. My sister says I hype myself up to much and get more anxiety about it because I've decided that I am one way and have locked myself into feeling worse in social situations because of it. But I wouldn't worry about it. just be yourself and don't tell yourself you'rebroken when its completely normal to feel that way.Hari thank you so much! It is hard to focus on what I want when I really am in need of money but I guess that's what I posted for in the first place. I know I could get a job now if I settled but I know I'd be unhappy and out wouldn't last long. I really should try to find some sort of environmental job but having no experience or training in it yet i don't know where to start. I'll have to do more research.
