i had my sister TnR mine a month ago and my hair grows really fast so i have these huge puffy roots and small uniform baby dreads at first i thought it looked really silly but now i love them and kind want them all the be like that.

Are you in cloth diaper swap groups on facebook? Thats where I've had the best luck finding used BG for a good price. If you aren't.... then type in "Bumgenius B/S/T" and you should be ale to find the swap group. another group is "Cloth Diaper B/S/T"

Dawn free and clear dilute a tbsp into a cup or two of water and rinse really well but do be careful because it will strip all; oils even the good kinds

i wring them out in a towel then let air dry sometimes sit in front of my wall heater. if they don't dry for a few hours i get my blow dryer out

if you have a powerful showerhead & new baby dreads it could be blasting knots out. turn down your showerhead (if ya can) or get a pitcher or jar or something to pour the water over your head, or you can "mermaid" it in the tub. loosening & tightening is a part of the process, but sometimes you need to change a little something to help get over a hump

How old are they? If you started them by backcombing or TnR that's common. Those methods are just to start sections and are blueprints more or less. They'll eventually knot up. Just don't redo them. Its normal for them to readjust themsleves
