Scalp stench.

Hello folks! Almost 2 months in my journey here and have one issue. Scalp smell. I fluctuate between dreadlock shampoo and BS/ACV, but I am mostly doing BS. But Even after a nice wash I can smell my scalp about a day or two later. Especially after using the shampoo. Ill scratch my head in a certain part (mainly behind ears) and my fingers will smell horrible. While the odor isnt too strong is definatley not pleasant. Haha is this normal? Or should I wash more? I try not to rub/scrub my scalp when washing maybe I should. What do you guys think?

Hmmm I bought all my oils at once. Tea Tree, Lavendar and peppermint. All but the peppermint had a dropper and it was a larger bottle. Both the same exact brand tho. I think I'm safe.

Alright so today I've had the WORST scalp issue. Mainly where my bangs are. I've been itching frantically cause I just cannot help it. After I itch I notice this insane amount of dry skin/chalky residue like substance on my fingers and headwear. I wasnt too sure what to do about since I just washed yesterday with the dreadlock shampoo. So I put some peppermint, tea tree, and lavendar oils in some water and rinsed my scalp but left the oils in. So far my head feels orgasmic and I'm not itching but who knows how it'll feel when it's dry. Was this a good idea or should I try a different approach? Lemme know friends!

Hey folks. So I'm 3 weeks in and everything is going great. but I started a new job painting houses and was wondering, is it safe to put my new dreads in a tam? I had them in a loose ponytail today but it kept falling out and got a little paint in my hair no biggie but it's extremely annyoing how I have to wash my hands and fix my hair every 10 minutes. Some of my babies got a little brushed out from the constant tying back. I was thinking if only I had a tam to just put them in it would be easier but I dont know if that would slow or stop the progress on my dreads. I currently don't have a tam. Would a cotton one be a good choice or should i go with wool?
Any advice is appreciated..

I usually put the oils in the with the mix. Then a few more drops into the acv rinse

its hardly noticable when dry. but when its wet it horrendous. I managed to take a piece out I think its all skin cause it didnt really break up or anything.
