Welcome. But Suave is not good for locks. Clarifying shampoos are not designed to be used more than a couple of times a year. And Suave, itself, is EXTREMELY toxic

Welcome. Have you started to try and get the wax and other gunk out? Wax will completely prevent your locks form maturing. They will NEVER progress past the first day you put it in. The other products will leave tons of residue. And, with the wax, contribute to mold/mildew growth.

Wax is a hydrocarbon. Which means that it will NEVER wash out, no matter how much hot water and normal soap you use. Hydrocarbons need a detergent to clean them out. So as long as it stays in, every time you wash, or get stuck in the rain, water and moisture will accumulate. As that water sits, it become stagnant, and causes mold to form in your hair. Eventually your hair can begin to rot on the inside. Trust me from experience, it nasty. I lost 1/2 my hair to rot with my first set.
