With soft water, any dread shampoo or bar can be used, with hard water, it is another story. Many of those shampoos and bars do not rinse out properly with hard water, they slowly leave a residue build up. use no products ar=t all
but if u are african american use only something to moisturize rthe scalp
not to hold the dreads
