Welcome. Also, in addition to not weaving, wax does nothing to help locks mature. It only creates the illusion of maturing locks, because the wax hardens and makes your hair will stiff. But in reality, wax completely prevents locking. It holds down knots, tangles, and loops. Without those, your hair hasn't progress anywhere past th irst day you put the wax in. And wax is a hydrocarbon. That mean it will NEVER wash out in normal soap and water. You need a detergent and weeks of scrubbing to get it all out. If no, water and moisture will get trapped in your locks, and cause mold/mildew to grow. This easily leads to hair literally rotting off. Take it from someone who experienced it, it's nasty.
