My expectations are low. I just love the way it feels to let my hair go! I made an intro post that kinda sums up my revelation about why I started doing this, which is basically to learn to love myself how I am. I am very happy with my hair as it is now, and am excited to see it change and grow.
Oh, and don't be discouraged, my hair didn't start firmly locking up for over a year! I recommend Dr. Bronner's for every wash! It'll lock them up nicely. I'd go for the tea tree, or eucalyptus one, they seem to be the knottiest! Good luck on your beautiful journey!
I just posted a timeline discussion if you want to see more! The first, and most important lesson to the dread journey is learning and understanding patience. :]
I know this pic was posted a long time ago, but seeing it relation to the rest of your more recent photos is encouraging cuz your hair in this photo looks quite like mine in my first week. I live in a wet climate, tho...we shall see, oh, we shall. =)

Thanks for the advice, and thanks for you!
